DâIBERVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - After an election season of suits and appeals, incumbent Craig âBootsâ Diaz is one step closer to retaining the Ward 3 seat in DâIberville.
Diazâs opponent in the primary election Zack Grady was originally disqualified from running due to his residency. Grady filed a lawsuit in circuit court after he was disqualified and the judge ruled in his favor, ordering the DâIberville Municipal Republican Executive Committee and the DâIberville City Clerk to immediately place Gradyâs name on the ballot.

BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Biloxi Mayor Andrew âFoFoâ Gilich will serve another term as the cityâs mayor after his lone opponent was disqualified.
Friday, the Democratic Executive Committee ruled Arneka Gardner-Keys did not live in the city limits, and therefore did not meet the qualifications to run for the office.
The committee also removed Maurice âMoâ Williams from the ballot for the Biloxi Ward 2 council seat, leaving incumbent Felix Gines facing independent Tracey Smith in the general election.
