Applications growing for private schools establishment, enlargement

The schools are in Pärnu, Tallinn and on the island of Hiiumaa. All three applications are currently being processed, said ministry spokesperson Jelena Zemskova. The Hiiumaa Hiiumaa vabakool  (Free School) would be based on Waldorf/Steiner educational lines, which aims to develop pupils intellectual, artistic, and practical skills in an integrated and holistic manner, its proponents say. The proposed Pärnu school likely provide a Christian-based education given its name (Pärnu kristlik erakool), while the Eastern Orthodox Shanghain and San Francisco St. John s School (Shanghai ja San-Francisco Püha Johannes kool) wants to establish an upper secondary school (Gümnaasium) to complement its basic school (Põhikool) in Tallinn.

The Mysterious Story of Angela Aycock

The Mysterious Story of Angela Aycock The former Lincoln High basketball star now lives a monastic life in Western Canada. By Zac Crain Published in FrontBurner April 27, 2021 3:14 pm Earlier today, while doing research for a forthcoming project, I ran across the name Angela Aycock. I will admit because I did not grow up in the area, and have not followed women’s basketball as closely as perhaps I should that I did not immediately know who she was. Aycock, when she graduated from Lincoln High School in the early 1990s, was the best female basketball player in the state, and arguably the best in the country. The 6-foot-2 guard went on to play for the University of Kansas, and she starred there, too she was co-Player of the Year as a junior and an All-American as a senior.
