Moscow Prepares Response to Expulsion of Russian Diplomat from Country
Russian Ambassador Sergey Bazdnikin refused to comment on the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) to expel from the country a Russian diplomat.
“Official Moscow will most certainly reciprocate for this, but that will definitely not affect the delivery of the batch of 200,000 Sputnik V vaccines against COVID-19,” Bazdnikin said briefly. In meantime, Member of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergei Tsekov said that Skopje fails to appreciate the good relations with Moscow.
“They try to demonstrate some kind of solidarity with Western centres of power, as if they are infected with an anti-Russian disease, trying to satisfy the EU, and of course we will respond reciprocally,” Tsekov said in interview for Russia today.
