Estonia closes the border for Russian citizens with Schengen visas issued by Tallinn. The ban will take effect next week. It is understood that it will not affect a number of categories of citizens, in particular employees of diplomatic missions and their families. According to the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry Urmas Reinsalu, a decision is being made to close the border for all Russians with a Schengen. The issue of depriving Russian tourists of the opportunity to travel around Europe is also being discussed in the EU. Permanent Representative Vladimir Chizhov hopes that when discussing this topic in Brussels, common sense will still prevail.
