Russia is working on the assumption that sanctions against it by the United States and its allies will last for many years, but that US influence on the world economy is waning, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
The US economy is showing signs of slowing down, with other economies - especially China and India - catching up fast.
