Kathleen Mae Lund

On January 23, 2024, a very special woman died peacefully. Kathleen Mae Lund, 95, born February 7, 1928 n Duluth, MN to John and Florence Miller. Graduating from Denfeld, Mom then worked several jobs before marrying Russell Lund and raising a family. She was an amazing women - kind, wise, smart and independent. Mom was one of the strongest women we have ever known. Living alone for so many years with the toughness only a woman of her time will ever realize. Kath loved all animals - very few birds or squirrels went hungry if they knew where Kath lived. She said “you can always judge someone’s character by how they treat an animal” as well as “there is something good in everyone”. We never heard her say a bad word about anyone. She was our beacon of love and our rock of faith. Mom, we will forever miss you. You gave us more love and time together than we could have ever hoped for. We are so proud of how strong you were and grateful we got all this time with you. We know you wer
