Canterbury United stalwart Dan Terris is sad to see the end of the national football league s provincial structure as the Dragons era comes to an enforced close. Terris played for Canterbury United in the first year of the New Zealand Football Championship format in 2004-05, captained them for the best part of a decade, is their record appearances holder, led them in two national grand finals and is assistant-coach now as the Dragons go into their final home game at English Park on Saturday.
