Sports wear brand Adidas and local artist Russell Abrahams have collaborated to redesign the FNB water tower in Soweto which is now adorned with legendary athletes and artists. Abrahams explained: “We sat and discussed which Adidas team members we should put up on the tower. I really wanted to create a fun piece of work that many people could look at and see themselves. “With the running theme being Impossible is Nothing, I wanted to celebrate and hype up individuals who are doing amazing and great things. It is honestly mind-blowing to think of their collective achievements and just exactly how far we’ve come,” he said.
