The liquidators of the insolvent Rawlins Trust cryptocurrency scheme say investors missed out on a Christmas payout because of the “futile” appeal against the insolvency by Richard and Marise Rawlins. Investors have been in limbo since late August 2020 when attorney Russel Linde sought an urgent high court application to sequestrate the trust when it could not repay his R500,000 investment.
