Reporter the collision between the school bus and the car happened around 3 00. The intersection here at Fourth Avenue and first street has been cleared. Lets get right to the video so you can see what the scene looks like with that many school bus on its side just a while ago. Were told a total of seven people were injured in the accident. That includes four children who were on the school bus and three adults, including the driver of the car involved in the collision. All seven taken to methodist hospital. Were told by the Fire Department all had minor injuries. One child did suffer serious injuries. However, those are nonlifethreatening injuries. Witnesses tell us the bus was going south on Fourth Avenue and attempting to make a left turn when it was struck by the blue mustang. I spoke to one witness who works across the street at the car wash. She told me she heard the crash, ran out and called 911 and tried to calm the kids while they waited for first responders.
