Valley Public Radio Broadcast Center

Valley Public Radio moved into its new, state-of-the-art broadcast center in May 2016. The 10,500 square foot facility in Clovis, CA is conveniently located off of Highway 168 at Temperance and Alluvial Avenues. The facility houses three control rooms, a news-talk studio, a large performance studio, a newsroom, and a conference suite. Designed from the ground-up for the needs of a growing public radio station, the center integrates all station content creation, audio production, and distribution activities in one location, using audio-over-IP technology.  The location in the Clovis Sierra Gateway research and technology park is just 15 minutes from downtown Fresno, and provides easy access to the entire Fresno/Clovis metro area. The station also uses the new space to further engage with the community, including a new series of public forums held in the Barmann-Chaney Performance Studio Be Public Live. The facility s striking design is from the Fresno-based architectural firm
