A Post-Gazette Investigation
Years after back-to-back explosions at an aging steel factory in northern Ohio tossed workers into guardrails with bloodied faces and deep burns, the leaders of the facility met in Pittsburgh to decide the future of the company.
They summoned a new plant manager to a private aviation center at Pittsburgh International Airport in 2013 to look for ways to improve the troubled facility and increase output.
But it wasn’t the sale of steel that would keep the money flowing into the mill.

Comment by Ukrlandfarming Group in Response to Statement by Former Prosecutor General Ryaboshapka
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka stated in an interview to Babel that the prosecutor general is blocking the proceedings against the former owner of VAB Bank Oleg Bakhmatyuk. The former official claims that his successor is allegedly obstructing NABU’s efforts to bring the case to sentencing

It is Ryaboshapka’s blessing, however, that allowed his deputy, Vitaliy Kasko, to sign an unlawful decision to wrongfully reopen a case, that had been exhaustively investigated by several law enforcement authorities and closed by court, in breach of the Code of Criminal Procedure and out of time- a case that cannot be brought to sentencing exactly because the charges are trumped-up, and the case is clearly fabricated – reads Ukrlandfarming’s statement.
