The manufacturing industry should maintain an unwavering focus on the upgrade of its capabilities, Belarus' Architecture and Construction Minister Ruslan Parkhamovich said as he visited Gantsevichi Plant of Large-Panel Housing Construction, a subsidiary of Brestzhilstroy.
“$750 million in the export of construction services is our target for the next year. This is quite a serious growth as against the previous year – up 25%, and we are determined to achieve it,” said Ruslan Parkhamovich.
Large families and people in uniform should take an absolute priority when we talk about subsidized residential construction programs, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak and Architecture and Construction Minister Ruslan Parkhamovich.
“No construction means no development of the country. It is an axiom, and it is clear to everyone, especially to you, who have been working in the construction sector for a long time. If we take a look at the performance of the construction industry last year, I can say that there is not much to be happy about,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The country's construction industry is in for revolutionary changes within the next six months, Belarus' Architecture and Construction Minister Ruslan Parkhamovich told the media after his meeting with the Belarusian president on 4 January.
