Perhaps the finish of the night came in the opening contest. Mark “Tyson” Fairtex Abelardo used his powerful right elbow to repeatedly rock Emilio Urrutia in the first round. Although the American survived to the end of the round, he would not exit the second frame.
As Urrutia got his legs back under him, Abelardo saw his shots coming. As Urrutia tried to land a strike to change the bout, “Tyson” stepped-in with a right elbow that crushed his opponent.
