STILLWATER Fire destroyed a two-story house at 10042 state Route 800 in Rush Township on Wednesday morning, according to Rush Township Fire Chief Rick Poland.
The cause is electrical with an undetermined point of origin, he said. It is suspected to have started in the right front corner of the house.
The fire was reported at 11:17 a.m. Uhrichsville firefighters arrived first to find the structure fully involved in flames, Poland said. They arrived five to seven minutes after the fire was reported, he said.
One wall of the house collapsed about half an hour after the fire was reported, Poland said.
