Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel release date set in Japan for August 2021
With three first-print bonus cards and an amiibo card for all preorders
Konami has announced that the release date of
Yu-Gi-Oh Rush Duel for Switch in Japan is Aug. 12, 2021. Preorders will go live starting April 21, with a special amiibo card bonus for all early purchases.
Yu-Gi-Oh! games usually come with physical bonus cards for the card game, and Konami will keep the tradition going for the
Rush Duel Switch game. However, we still don’t know which cards will come included with the game, but it will include three cards as the limited first-print bonus. The amiibo card will be available as an early pre-purchase bonus.
Konami announced last year that it was hard at work on developing the new
Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel, and we now have a release window of summer 2021 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The news comes from this week’s issue of
Famitsu magazine (via Ryokutya2089).
The official title was revealed as
Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! (
Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Ultimate Battle Royale). In addition to partaking in Rush Duels in the world of
