Rural India is on the periphery of an e-commerce revolution. There has been a massive increase in the number of users of e-commerce apps in the last six to eight months, according to the latest edition of the Rural Barometer Report.
Despite a surge in demand post easing of lockdown, Nestlé India has reported a duller than expected 2.25 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2020 to Rs 483.3 crore. The company s revenues in the quarter grew 9 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 3,432.6 crore.
