GUWAHATI: Various organizations of the State staged protests here at the Chachal Protest Ground on Tuesday over different individual demands.
Slogans raised by members of the All Assam Matak Yuba-Chatra Sanmilan (AAMYCS), All Assam Safai Karmi/Covid Warriors (Ward boys and Laboratory Technician), and Nikhil Bishnupriya Manipuri Mahasabharended the air of the ground. The number of reservation for the students of our tribe in comparison to other tribes of Assam is less. Thus we demand 10 reserved seats in different universities, medical colleges, engineering colleges and other technical institutions of the State.
