Northern Kane County Chamber to host Spring Scholar Shuffle 5K Run/Walk May 15

The Northern Kane County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Spring Scholar Shuffle 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 15.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the chamber and the Women in Business/Dollars for Scholars, which raises funds for its annual student scholarship program.
Participating runners and walkers will be required to wear a mask. They will follow a course near and around Carpenter Park, 351 Carpenter Blvd. in Carpentersville.
The race begins at 8 a.m. with check-in beginning at 7 a.m.
Events sponsors to date are Northwestern Medicine, Comcast, and Baird & Warner, Algonquin.

Registration is now open for the Association for Individual Development s first virtual Run, Walk & Roll 5K.
Beginning on Monday, May 10, participants will have two weeks to complete a virtual run, walk or roll and submit finish times.
All participants who register by Tuesday, April 20, will receive an official AID 5K T-shirt and medal and individuals who fundraise $100 or more will also receive a limited-edition graphic T-shirt.
St. Paddy s Day 5K to benefit local youth and support downtown Naperville merchants Anytime in March, runners for this year s Naperville Sunrise Rotary St. Paddy s Day 5K can run the traditional route through downtown or do a 5K course of their own choice. The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise invites individual runners and families to sign up for the St. Paddy s Day 5K, which will be held as a virtual run. The club has teamed up with Downtown Naperville to support local restaurants and retailers during this challenging time.
