Show Transcript - I love runners response to tragedy, which is to just say you re not gonna hold us down. It s very reminiscent of the Boston bombings in 13. We could ve tightened up the community and said let s make it exclusive, you can t be in the club, and we re gonna make the numbers smaller and security tighter. In 2014, I think, they opened up for more participants in the race. The crowds were bigger than ever and it was just this rally cry of you can do bad things, but you can t hold people back, and hold people down and this community is incredibly strong.
