Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal could sign a new goalkeeper this month, but was coy about the future of Runar Alex Runarsson.
Arsenal signed Runarsson in the summer transfer window to provide competition for Bernd Leno. The departure of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa meant they needed a new keeper.

Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the departure of Matt Macey.
As announced on Arsenal’s official website today, Macey has left Arsenal and moved to Scottish Premiership club Hibernian.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper had been on the books of the Gunners since 2013, but he could not establish himself in the first team.
The Englishman also had loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle.

Arsenal are among the clubs interested in giving QPR goalkeeper Seny Dieng the step up to the Premier League, a report claims.
Dieng has started 20 games in the Championship this season. He has kept four clean sheets and has only conceded more than two goals in two games.
The Swiss international has been a standout player in the second tier and could be rewarded with a transfer to the top flight.
