that there may be a problem with one or more of the jurors. short time ago the defense team arrived here at the federal court here in alexandria, virginia. one of the first pieces of business is what s called a rule 29 motion. that is their effort to get some or all of the charges dismissed before the case goes to the jury. this is kind of proforma, standard. usually don t go anywhere. the defense team feels they have good grounds to have some of the charges dismissed. specifically on the issue of bank fraud and these loans that paul manafort took in 2016 from the federal savings bank. specifically that the ceo of that bank wanted the loans to go through because he was trying to obtain a job within the trump administration. and in the newly-released court documents we have this email from paul manafort to the president s son-in-law, jared kushner from november of 2016. it states manafort is recommending the ceo of this bank for a senior position such
