Speaking at the D-8 Business Forum held virtually, Ruhsar Pekcan asked Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nigeria and Pakistan to begin the implementation of the agreement at the earliest, as Turkey did so. She stressed that Turkey is well aware of the economic synergy that could be generated with its fellow countries of shared historical, economic, social, and cultural foundations.

Sheikh Fazle Fahim elected president of D8 CCI 295 DHAKA, April 5, 2021 (BSS) – Sheikh Fazle Fahim, president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), has been elected president of the D8 Chambers of Commerce and Industry (D8 CCI) for the next two years at the D8 Business Forum. Sheikh Fazle Fahim will serve as the president of the D8 CCI for the term of 2021-2023, marking the beginning of Bangladesh’s presidency over the D8 CCI for the first time, said a press release. Sheikh Fazle Fahim officially assumed today the role of president at the virtual D-8 Business Forum on the sideline of the D8 Summit 2021.
