Three more people in Calubian, Leyte died as the devastation wrought by tropical storm (TS) “Dante” in Eastern Visayas has slowly unfolded, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed Saturday, June 5.

The NDRRMC said a 51-year-old woman was caught in a flashflood while trying to cross a river in Barangay Casiongan in Calubian town. Local authorities identified the fatality as Joselita Montemor.

+ June 03, 2021 THE death toll from Tropical Storm Dante has climbed to four, with three more persons found dead in Mindanao and Leyte, Eastern Visayas as the storm caused massive flooding, flash floods and landslides.
