Finally, we look at the response of the tea party to the 2012 elections, including perceptions of why romney lost, change over time and willingness to time and willingness to compromise, and evaluation of the Republican Party and its leaders. I think that were going to be able that theyre going to make a deal. I mean, thats what politicians do. The republicans lost the election. They know theyre going to have to raise revenues. But i think the overhyping of deficits, the deficit mania that seized this town, is kind of crazy. I mean, i love alan simpson and erskine bowles, but theyre talking about inflation at a moment when people are paying us money to invest in our treasury bonds.
