In Group C in Latvia s capital Riga, Spain overcame France in overtime - a sweet response for a side that lost by a single point yesterday.
Ruben Dominguez led Spain with 14 points, and his bucket with 3.4 seconds remaining in overtime proved the winning shot.
Argentina beat South Korea 112-74 in the group s other match, with six players reaching double figures for points.
