KUALA LUMPUR: The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Industry Indonesia (MOI) and the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) to firm up the commitment to jointly develop rubber cities at the 28th Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Ministerial Meeting today.
Thailand topped the list of rubber exporting countries in the first half of this year, with shipments of 2.19 million tonnes valued at 70.5 billion THB (2 billion USD), Advisor to Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Alongkorn Ponlaboot revealed on August 12.
BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Thailand topped the list of rubber exporting countries in the first half of the year, with shipments of 2.19 million tonnes valued at 70.5 billion baht, the agriculture minister’s adviser revealed on Friday (Aug 12).
The National Rubber Policy Committee approved in principle the rubber price guarantee scheme for the 2021-22 season, pledging to spend 10 billion baht for the annual scheme operating for the third consecutive year.
