Paul Anthony Field, of Daniels Drive, appeared via live link at Mold Magistrates Court on Friday. The 42-year-old admitted that on October 19 last year he stole two tubs of Cow and Gate Baby Milk belonging to Ruabon Park Services. Their value was £17.98. He admitted having then repeated the offence on October 21, as well as stealing seven packets of steak belonging to Co-op in Johnstown, to an unknown value, on December 11. Field was ordered to pay compensation to the value of the stolen milk tubs, as well as £85 costs. No separate penalty was imposed for the theft of the steak. Field also admitted separate offences of attempting to steal a GoPro and engine oil at Snax 24 Garage in Johnstown on January 29 this year, as well as the theft of steak from Co-op in Ruabon on January 27 - which were in breach of a suspended sentence.
