Olectra Greentech: In a major move towards electrification of the state bus fleet, Maharashtra State Road Transportation Corporation (MSRTC) managing director Shekhar Channe on Friday announced that the corporation has awarded a major contract for procuring 5,150 AC electric buses at a lease rent of INR 73/km with the aim to have at least 33% electric fleet in the corporation by July 2025.
