BADIN (Dunya News) - Vote count is underway after polling for the by-election in Sindh Assembly constituency PS-70 Matli (Badin II) ended at 5pm, today (Thursday).
According to unofficial results of 27 polling stations, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Haji Muhammad Dada Halipota is leading with 7,354 votes while JUIs Maulana Gul Hassan is at second position with 1,172 votes.
The polling started at 8:00 am and continued without any break till 5:00 pm. There are six candidates in the run for the by-election.
According to Election Commission, 123 polling stations were set up in the constituency for 166,809 registered voters who have exercised their right to vote during today’s polling.

WAURIKA, Okla. (TNN) - A truck fire in Waurika caused traffic to be backed up Thursday morning.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said shortly after 7 a.m. that U.S. 70 and northbound U.S. 81 were closed at the junction in Waurika due to a crash.
What caused the semi to catch fire is not known at this time, and neither are the extent of injuries as a result.
