MANILA -Three bettors became instant millionaires after winning the nearly PHP44 million jackpot of the Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Wednesday. In an advisory, the PCSO said the bettors guessed the winning combination 25-20-29-07-21-02 drawn on Tuesday night. The draw carried a total prize of PHP43,912,343.80. The winning tickets were purchased by three bettors in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan; Silang, Cavite; and Sta. Rosa, Laguna. To claim the check, the bettors must go to PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards. As provided in the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20 percent final tax. A total of 80 other bettors who guessed five out of the six winning combinations won PHP24,000 each, the PCSO said. In an advisory Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said the lucky bettor guessed the winning combination of 20 22 09 54 06 19 with a jackpot of PHP100,064,568. The ticket was purchased in Gen. Luna Quezon. The bettor can claim the check at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City upon presentation of the winning ticket and two identification cards. As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax. Some 29 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP120,000 each.
