On Monday, April 3, 2023, Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement responded to the area of the 10700 block of Kingston Pike and Lovell Road, after receiving sighting reports of fugitive Roy C. McGrath. During the incident, McGrath was shot and taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
