LAHORE: The prestigious Jinnah Cup which is being held in connection with the birth celebrations of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and the equally important Christmas Cup will be the feature races during the Lahore Winter Meeting at the Racecourse here on Sunday.
The Jinnah Cup, a class VI division III and IV to be contested over the sprinting distance of 1,100 metres, has six runners who have confirmed credentials as the sprinters. Filly Repunzel Beauty, in spite of her placing on top of the handicap is being favoured to win the coveted cup while colt Special One and filly Sajni will be her main challengers.
