“Since my mother passed away I feel like there is an emptiness inside me. Helping others and making people smile seems to ease the pain.I know it is what she would be doing if she was here so I know I am making her smile by doing it. I love Cochrane and I will continue to help people in any way I can,” says Sammie Barrette who has been participating in a number of philanthropic projects for the last couple of years.
Her most recent endeavour is to make money for VCARs by hosting “Sammie’s Sweeties” photo contest.
