Following in the footsteps of her father, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, who attended the college as a teenager, 15-year-old Alexia is expected to join the institution this summer – joining the same 2023 graduating class as Leonor. The official website for the Royal House of the Netherlands issued a statement on Tuesday 2 March stipulating: ‘After the summer Her Royal Highness Princess Alexia of the Netherlands will continue her secondary school studies at the United World College of the Atlantic (UWC Atlantic College) in Llantwit Major in Wales, where she will pursue her International Baccalaureate. Princess Alexia is currently in her fourth year at the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague.’
