Patricia Treble, who writes for Canadian lifestyle magazine Maclean’s, said she does not believe Prince Charles will offer small soundbites like Prince William did in response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle s interview with Oprah. Molly Mulshine, the host of the Royally US podcast, discussed the lack of an extensive Royal Family response to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex s interview with Oprah. One listener submitted a question to the royal show she was co-hosting which asked how did the Royal Family not know the challenges that were being faced by Meghan Markle while the Duchess was still a senior working royal. However, she added, the royals are glad they at least started a conversation.
Ms King also said: And I think what it is still upsetting to them is that the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately and yet they believe these false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan still.
She added: I think it is frustrating for them to see there is a racial conversation about the Royal Family when all they wanted all along for the royals to intervene and tell the press to stop with the unfair inaccurate false stories that have a racial slant.
