Local security forces say they have detailed a group of men in a counter-narcotics operation more than a week ago in Barbados’ territorial waters.The joint counter-narcotics operation netted four Guyanese nationals and a Barbadian along with the boat which was allegedly used to transport marijuana to Barbados.Acting Lieutenant Commander of the Barbados Coast Guard Derek Brathwaite said that the operation which was conducted on November 24 – but only now being made public – involved teams from the coast guard, the Police Drug Squad and other agencies.
