Trainer Richard Azan’s LABAN is tipped to turn the tables on MONEY MONSTER in Friday’s overnight allowance event at six furlongs, avenging a three-length loss to his old rival at five furlongs round on February 28.
After losing on February 28, an event in which he committed suicide by speed, attempting to chase SALVATION, LABAN returned with the visor removed to beat imported LURE OF LUCY at six furlongs, afterwards finishing ahead of MONEY MONSTER in back-to-back races.
A run-on sprinter, LABAN appears to prefer racing without the visor, which Azan had specifically fitted for his fourth outing to defeat the lightning-fast pair of SHE’S A HIT and ENGLAND’S ROSE at five furlongs straight last September.
