One sweltering day in Arizona, the thermometer on his bike read 130 degrees. Roy Wiegand completed the last leg of a 1,100 mile bike ride from Los Angeles to Albuquerque on Friday afternoon. Wiegand’s ride, which concluded at the Botanic Garden with a welcoming committee of his wife and friends, has raised more than $13,000 for DigDeep to install water systems in homes on the Navajo Nation.
