The Jazzy Cupcake and Candy Company enjoyed the grand opening of its Dereham shop on Friday with an eager crowd of customers - and a visit from a stilt-walker.
After seven years of home-working, the Jazzy Cupcake and Candy Company is opening a physical shop in the centre of Dereham, with a grand opening weekend planned.
Roy Brame has been selected as the new council chairman at Breckland District Council

Breckland Council has virtually handed over the chain of office to a new chairman for the first time in two years.
At the council’s annual meeting on Thursday, Roy Brame was selected as the new council chairman.
Mr Brame replaces Lynda Turner, who served an extended two-year term due to the pandemic.
He was nominated by Ed Colman, who said: “Councillor Brame is a credit as a local councillor, he is unwavering in his commitment to his residents and he has been a dependable vice-chairman over the past two years.”

Roy Brame, Norfolk County Councillor for Thetford East, has resigned from the council and as a Conservative member.

A county councillor has resigned and quit the Conservative party, for “a change in direction” and to spend more time with his family.
Roy Brame, Norfolk County councillor for Thetford East, has resigned from the council and as a Conservative member.
Mr Brame, who was elected onto the council in 2017, said: “I have resigned as a county councillor and I am no longer a member of the Conservative association. I am now an independent district councillor.
