Wake County Schools Will Start Remotely in January student ipad school - 233 by flickingerbrad
The Wake County School Board voted to suspend in-person classes when school returns from winter break next year.Â
The unanimous vote from the board will shift the first two weeks from in-person instruction to remote learning from January 4 to January 15.
Classes are currently being held in-person at schools countywide. Recent weeks have seen a spike in cases of the virus, leaving many concerned for the safety of students and staff returning to schools. Others worry about the negative effects postponing in-person learning could have on students and their families.Â
