Share Barbara Ann Taylor NEWBURYPORT, Mass. – Barbara Ann Taylor, 83, of Newburyport, Mass., formerly of Arlington, passed away on May 11, 2021 after a long illness. She was born on June 13, 1937 in Rumford, to parents John H. Sr. and Isabel (Robbins) Taylor. Barbara grew up in Maine with her family, went to Roxbury Schools until the family moved to Windham in 1951. She graduated from Windham High School in 1955. After graduating she enrolled in North Eastern Business School where she got a degree in accounting. She worked as an accountant at a car dealership in Portland before moving to Massachusetts for another opportunity. She worked for many years in accounting at car dealerships before retiring in her early 70s. Even after retirement she continued to work from home.
