FIVE star hygiene ratings have been recorded across the board for west Cumbrian businesses. The Food Standards Agency has revealed the hygiene ratings of nine businesses in the Copeland area, all of which received the highest possible accolade. The agency assess food hygiene at businesses serving food, in partnership with local authorities. The Food Standards Agency awarded five stars for cleanliness to Frizington Chippy on the town s Main Street, BP Garage at Bridge End in Egremont, Gabe s Vegan Cakes of Pheasant Rise, Rowrah and Knight s Bespoke Catering in Haverigg. Top marks for hygiene were also awarded to Much of Flowers, Lowther Road, Millom as well as Scoop Value on Wellington Street.
