ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Jason Emmanuel Roebuck of Salisbury was convicted by a jury this week in Rowan County Criminal Superior Court of felony possession of a firearm by convicted felon and his status as a habitual felon, according to a press release from Rowan County District Attorney Brandy Cook.
Following the jury’s verdicts, Judge William A. Wood sentenced Roebuck to a minimum of 101 months (8.41 years) to a maximum of 134 months (11.16 years) in prison.

KANNAPOLIS, NC (WBTV) - A Kannapolis man pled guilty Monday more than two years after he was accused of committing repeated sex crimes against a 7-year-old girl he was an acquaintance of.
Homer David Compton, Jr., 47, pled guilty as charged in court with no plea agreement in Rowan County Criminal Superior Court to four counts of felony indecent liberties with a child, six counts of felony statutory rape of a child and one count of felony sex offense with a child.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Two men were convicted in Rowan County Criminal Superior Court as habitual felons for multiple offenses.
Eugene Green of Salisbury was convicted by a jury of felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle and the status of being a habitual felon. During the jury trial, Green did not return to court. The Honorable William A. Wood entered an order for his arrest and once he is located, sentencing will be scheduled.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - Following a week-long trial, Donald Clair Reynolds, III, of Salisbury was convicted on Friday by a jury in Rowan County Criminal Superior Court of three counts of felony indecent liberties with a child. Judge William A. Wood sentenced Reynolds, III, to two consecutive active prison sentences of a minimum of 19 months to a maximum of 32 months in prison (total of approximately 38 months to 64 months).
