going to take us. the more dysfunctional we are, the more we give power to the wealthy elite in our country who control members of congress in the first place because of big money, dark money and politics, and those are the donors who support the republicans we re talking about. so this is an insidious plan that is almost an insurrection from within, similar to the insurrection that happened from without on january 6th. the more you at toe at row fee the federal government, the more power there is out in corporations. you mentioned marjorie taylor greene sitting on a committee that is tasked for investing covid-19. so now the toks is sitting on top of the hen house.
tell other people to do it. and the vote? i want to hear you say it. i m reading you, right? i want priorities, and the way they manage their own finances has a lot to do with that. do you wear that this incarnation of the gop is out of touch with the american people, more than half agree with donald trump saying, whoa, let s put a halt on muslim immigration. but two-thirds of americans are not cool with that. well, i think the two-thirds of americans who aren t cool with it, the majority of that two-thirds, then, aren t understanding that we must be able to vet those who are trying to get into our country. because there are nefarious characters wanting to harm, destroy america. and first and foremost, the federal government, their responsibility is the security of this nation and the security of our borders. when we let all that at row fee go away, then we know the feds aren t doing their job. and we know that we need leadership that is committed to
row fee in recent years, it is being supplemented by privately and secretly funded groups. last year s elections were really the first elections where they tried to pull that off. nevada is one of the places where it seems like they didn t get it together fast enough to do it. but it looks like they re not going to make that same mistake this time around. roll call newspaper reporting today that another one of the groups, freedom works is transitioning itself from an activist organization to a get out the vote organization. as it is, get out the vote is traditionally done by the political parties, but that, of course, was abiding by those pesky federal restrictions on how much parties can take in from groups and individuals for those activities. take that responsibility out of the hands of the parties, and give it to someone like freedom works, and hey, there go all the restrictions. as the obama re-election campaign really gets into gear now, one of the things that i think democra
