George Watson Seaver (1854-1946) was born 9 December 1854 in Marion, Virginia, the son of William C. and Elizabeth Ann (Pruner) Seaver. He married Seanah M. Painter (1876-1919) on 29 October 1896 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. They had four children: Maude Elizabeth Seaver (1897-1980), married about 1919 Dr. Malcolm Marvin Brown (1887-1948).
