Spielberg監督のA.I.は、年齢を重ねるにつれ面白くなっていく。
故Stanley Kubrick監督があたためていた構想をSteven Spielberg監督が完成させたこの映画は、2001年6月末に公開された。Spielberg監督にとっては、1998年の「プライベート・ライアン」以来の作品だ。筆者は当時、西海岸に住んでいたので、ロサンゼルスの映画館で見た。暗がりの中、不思議な感覚に包まれたのを覚えている。
