Even after Christmas, holiday lights still entertain
Bill Ellzey
We ve been cruising Terrebonne after dark lately, enjoying the colorful lighted yard displays. And there are lots of them, often in neighborhood clusters, entire blocks of attractive scenes together. Like the Talamo yard on Del Rey Boulevard, where neighbors appear to be competing.
But Del Rey is not the only such cluster. A drive almost anywhere is likely to be rewarding. There is an elaborate batch on upper Bayou Dularge. Residents of any of the bayous are likely to surprise you.
Christmas Day is past, of course, but it s not too late to make an exploratory drive. The Talamos tell us that their decorations will stay up through the first week of January.
