ENGLEWOOD, Colo. The Englewood Police Department (EPD) said they didn t find any explosives after investigating a suspicious package at a park Wednesday afternoon.
EPD was called to Rotolo Park around 2:40 p.m. after they said someone reported seeing a man place a cylinder with tape on it near a fence on the north end of the park.
Rotolo Park is located at 4401 S. Huron St., near the West Quincy Avenue and South Huron Street intersection.
The Arapahoe County Sheriff s Department bomb squad responded, recovered the package and determined it was not an explosive device.
