GOSPEL: The Roten Boys, Rowsey Family and Dustin Lambert are featured during Cabell County Fairâs gospel night from 3 to 11 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at West Virginia Pumpkin Park, Milton. Admission is $8; $5 ages 55 and older; and free ages 5 and younger.
LISTED: Katelyn Ferguson, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, was among more than 7,800 students qualifying for the deanâs list for the spring semester at Ohio University, Athens. To receive this distinction, students must earn 12 semester hours of credit, including at least six hours attempted for letter grades, with a minimum grade point average of at least 3.5 achieved. She graduated with an Associate in Applied Science (associate in nursing) from the universityâs College of Health Sciences and Professions.

On Sunday, July 25, the fair parade will begin in Milton at 2 p.m.
The fair will be held July 28-31 at Pumpkin Park. Admission on Wednesday is $5; $8 on Thursday and Friday; and $10 on Saturday.
Wednesday, July 28, is Family Fun Night. The fair will feature several kid-friendly activities, including movie showings of âDespicable Meâ at 6 p.m. and âDespicable Me 2â at 8 p.m.
Thursday, July 29, is Gospel Night. Attendees can hear live music from acts such as The Roten Boys, The Rowsey Family and Dustin Lambert.
On Friday, July 30, the rodeo will begin at 8 p.m. at the track area.
The Mud Bog returns Saturday, July 31, at 11 a.m., with registration for the event beginning at 9 a.m. The demolition derby will begin later that day at 7 p.m.
